Done. Finito. Complete. You know what this means? If I work things right, I’ve got to write as few as 5,000 more words and I’m done with my Master’s Programme forever. Think I’m happy about that? Well you’d be wrong. I’m bloody ecstatic!!!
For those sorry few of you who were following along with my progress through the night, you can see still see the timeline here (right up until 11am). And before any of you ask, I haven’t got a clue if this is a decent paper. Reading through it I don’t cringe at a single part. The spelling’s right, the grammar is good. I’ve got quite a few footnotes and a score or so of sources. Now how well are they put together? We’ll just have to wait and find out. It’ll be a long wait too, since Strickland is out of town for a few weeks. Oh well!
After work this weekend, I’m looking forward to a full week vacation. I’m doing nothing which I don’t want to. Maybe I’ll go visit Jennix. Maybe Katie. Hell, maybe I’ll run down to London to catch a few shows. Oh! I know! I’ll just get drunk and stay that way all week. Yeah, I like that. Cool.
“We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.”
~William Shakespeare – “Henry V” – Act IV, Scene iii
